SERVICES INCLUDE:

• Perform Medication Regimen Reviews on every resident in the facility on a regular basis
• Work as a part of the team to enhance the residents' quality of life
• Perform medication cart and medication room audits
• Help prepare facilities for federal and state compliance surveys (including participation in the mock-survey process)
• Complete Drug Destruction per State and Federal regulations
• Assist facilities in developing policy and procedures
• Provide medication counseling to nursing staff, residents and care-givers
• Provide formal in-services for facility staff
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, clinical and manufacturer recommendations in an effort to prevent medication errors
